The computing 2026 higher paper was not just difficult to sit — it was daunting, complex, and, worst of all — poorly worded — the software wasn't soft, the databases had too much data, and, the websites were too webby — we cannot settle for this lapse in quality from Qualifications Scotland.

We urge the examination board to reconsider the higher computing QS grade boundaries to account for these unforeseen difficulties. Adjusting the grade boundaries will help ensure that this year's cohort is not unfairly disadvantaged due to factors beyond their control.
